Restoring Lansdowne started as a social media seedling in 2016 when I set up an Instagram account to document extensive renovations to the Victorian house I share with my husband and two mischievous cats.

Over 6 years we transformed the property to create a beautiful, functional home that marries original Victorian features with a unique, modern-vintage design aesthetic and practical creature comforts. Goodbye shag carpets and magnolia gloss, and good riddance.

I now have over 39,000 followers on Instagram and my home has featured in Style at Home and Ideal Home magazines, on MADE.com, Buzzfeed, Sheerluxe and leading interiors blogs in the UK and abroad.

Originally from Chicago, I studied fine art at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts and Tufts University in Boston before moving to the UK in my early 20's.

My interiors specialty is what I like to call modern vintage style. Sophisticated spaces with a blend of clean lined contemporary, stand-out vintage pieces (that won't break the bank) and edgy industrial, scandinavian and luxe influences. Never over-designed or stuffy, always fit for, you know, actually LIVING in.

I'm still writing the rule book on cat-proofing your home...it may be a while yet.
